About the Founder
Fitnessgear24 was founded in 2001 by Mark van der Sanden. Back then, and still today, as a passionate triathlete, Mark realized that you needed to be physically strong and fit to achieve a good triathlon time. This is how his search for fitness equipment to train at home, even during the cold winters, began. Since everyone knows each other in the triathlon world, fellow triathletes started asking Mark which fitness equipment he used, and from there, Mark began looking for solutions. As demand increased, Fitnessgear24 was born, and today, fitness equipment is available for strength training, cardio, and even rehabilitation and medical purposes.
