Delivery and installation of fitness equipment on-site

Have you just ordered your new fitness equipment? Naturally, you want to start using it as soon as possible. For a large part of our range, we offer on-site delivery and installation. This allows you to enjoy your equipment without worry and focus on your health. We consider excellent service important, which is why we’re happy to take on the challenge whether it’s placement and installation on the ground floor, in the basement, or on an upper floor.

Important for a correct delivery

We understand you want to enjoy your new fitness equipment quickly, so we aim to deliver and install it as soon as possible. Our installers are happy to assess the desired location with you and whether that location is feasible. In some cases, it may be necessary to use a moving lift (which we have available ourselves) or a reach stacker, but in many situations our own strong installers can handle it. We deliver our fitness equipment in both the Netherlands and Belgium.

For a smooth delivery and installation, there are several points to consider in advance:

• The accessibility of the location. This can include gravel paths, thresholds, steps, unpaved roads, floors/levels, and similar obstacles.
• We always strive to get your new equipment to the desired location without damage. However, it can sometimes happen that the route to your desired location think of stair railings, tight corners, etc. makes placement more difficult. That’s why it’s important to move any fragile items that may be in the way temporarily aside beforehand.
• Safety always comes first for us, our installers must be able to carry out their work as safely and properly as possible. For difficult-to-access paths, spaces, corners, and similar situations, photos (or videos) are more than welcome. This helps us ensure the delivery runs even more smoothly. Installation at the desired location

After consulting with the fitness specialists about the delivery, our installers will deliver and install the ordered equipment on the agreed day. Some machines can be assembled in advance at our assembly center. Larger machines, such as strength stations, are almost always assembled on-site.

In almost all cases, at least two installers handle the installation. When needed, we come with a larger team of, for example, 3 or 4 installers. Together they ensure your machine is maneuvered through hallways. Would you like the machine to be placed in a basement or on an upper floor? We’re happy to take on that challenge as well.

For heavy or very large machines that must be brought inside via stairs, elevator, window, or balcony, additional costs may apply. Ask our fitness specialists if an extra free will be applied.

After the installation

Once everything has been neatly assembled, the installers will thoroughly test the machine together with you. If everything is approved by the installers, they will explain how the machine works and any maintenance that may be required. Packaging materials will also be removed and recycled. That way, you can get started quickly and enjoy your new fitness machine.

Are there any costs for delivery and installation?

Depending on the fitness equipment you choose, delivery and installation may be free in certain cases. For large orders or complex deliveries and installations, charges may apply. For each product, you can see whether it qualifies for free delivery and installation. For a delivery with installation, we always discuss the desired location in advance so we can make an accurate assessment.

Any installation costs can always be found on the relevant fitness machine’s product page. For more complex or larger installations, installation costs will always be discussed in advance.

Fitness installation on an upper floor or in the basement

Have you finally found the perfect fitness machine to work on your health? Then of course it also needs to fit in your desired location. We can place 99% of fitness equipment in the desired spot, whether that’s on the ground floor, an upper floor, or in the basement.

Coordinating installation and delivery for a basement or an upper floor

Would you like your new fitness machine to be placed in the basement or on an upper floor? In many cases, that’s certainly possible.

If you’re unsure whether the fitness machine can fit through the hallway or up the stairs, we ask you to take a few photos (or a video) and carefully measure all passageways. This allows our planners and installers to assess whether it’s possible to get your new fitness equipment to the desired location.

If you have a spiral staircase or a narrower stairwell, it’s important to discuss this with our planning department so our planners can make an accurate assessment. If you have easily removable handrails, we also appreciate you letting us know.

Our specialized installers have over 20 years of experience and carry out on-site installations every day. On location, our installers also make an additional assessment to check whether your fitness machine can pass through the stairwell, so they can deliver everything neatly.

If your new fitness machine cannot be taken upstairs via the stairs, then depending on your home, it may sometimes still be possible to bring it inside via the balcony or a large window. With our own special lift, we can raise the equipment upward.

Exercise bikes, indoor bikes, rowing machines, and strength stations

Exercise bikes, indoor bikes, rowing machines, and strength stations can almost always be delivered to an upper floor or the basement. Even though rowing machines and strength stations are large, they can also be carried upstairs or downstairs in parts.

Home treadmills and cross trainers

Treadmills and cross trainers for home use can sometimes be a challenge one we’re happy to take on. It can happen that a treadmill or cross trainer is not fully dismountable. That’s why we always analyze the situation first.

Semi-professional and professional treadmills and cross trainers

These fitness machines are generally heavier compared to home fitness equipment. They often have a fixed main frame, making them virtually non-dismountable. For these machines, we also assess the situation in advance.

Do you live in an apartment building?

We are happy to deliver your fitness equipment to your desired location. If you live in a (higher-floor) apartment building, we can often deliver your fitness equipment there as well. To guarantee a proper delivery, it is important that if you live several floors up, there is an elevator in the building.

Smaller fitness machines such as exercise bikes, indoor bikes, and rowing machines can usually be taken upstairs without much difficulty. Strength stations can also be taken upstairs, as they are often transported in parts.

If it concerns larger fitness machines such as a treadmill or a cross trainer, it can be a bit more difficult but not necessarily impossible. We may need additional information, such as the elevator dimensions, so we can check whether the fitness machine will fit.

The installation team

For every delivery that includes installation, at least two installers will come. Some fitness machines can be quite heavy. For heavier machines, such as semi-professional or fully professional equipment, we deploy an installation team of 3 to 4 people. If multiple fitness machines need to be installed at the same time, our planning department will carefully review the options in advance and schedule the number of installers needed for an efficient workflow.
