The Life Fitness CSX cross trainer is the result of intensive research and extensive testing, giving it the purest and most natural elliptical motion.

The CSX has now been replaced by the improved CSXH.

This machine is designed for synchronous movement of the upper and lower body, so you use your entire body during training. This way, you burn more calories without noticing that it takes extra effort.

But you can also choose to train specific parts of your body. Your legs, for example, or your entire lower body. During these exercises, you gain stability by holding the ErgoGrip handles of the Life Fitness Club Series cross trainer.

This home version of the professional Club cross trainer has 18 different program options and 25 resistance levels. The program options include standard exercises such as "speed" and "hill," as well as targeted and heart rate-controlled exercises.

A special feature is the cross-train aerobics, with backward cross-train options. And if you decide to do something else during an exercise, Life Fitness's 'on the fly programming' system ensures that all your data is saved on the screen and carried over to your new exercise.

Want some entertainment while you exercise? The Life Fitness Club Series cross trainer has an integrated control and charger for your iPod. And with the included chest strap, you can choose to have your heart rate measured without holding the cross trainer handles.

This leaves your hands free to operate your iPod, read a book using the built-in reading rack, or grab your water bottle from the accessory holder.
