100 Magnetic Resistance Levels

With the innovative magnetic resistance system, you can set up to 100 different resistance levels, simply using the dial. This ensures a smooth and quiet transition between intensity levels, allowing you to tailor every cycling workout precisely to your personal level.

Integrated screen (display) and device holder

With the integrated VR-ready LCD screen, you can track your heart rate, calories, speed, distance, revolutions per minute (RPM), difficulty level and various other metrics. This allows you to train even more effectively and ensures you always have your data at your fingertips.

The integrated device holder allows you to securely mount your tablet or smartphone on the handlebars so you can watch your favourite films and series whilst training. Of course, you can also play your favourite music for extra motivation during your workout. Or, if you’re training with an app such as JRNY or Zwift, you can open it on your device.

To track your heart rate, calories and so on on the screen, you’ll need a heart rate monitor with Bluetooth 4.0; this heart rate monitor is available as an optional extra. For extra motivation, you can also pair the console with your tablet or smartphone and use the popular Zwift app.

An adjustable racing saddle and handlebars

Good posture and comfort are crucial for both long and short cycling sessions, and the Schwinn 800IC offers plenty of adjustment options. Thanks to the 4-way adjustable triathlon handlebars, you can adjust them exactly as you wish (up, down and forwards/backwards). The saddle can also be fully adjusted, both up and down as well as forwards and backwards. This allows you to tailor the bike perfectly to your height and build, ensuring you always have the ideal training posture. By maintaining a good ergonomic posture, you reduce the risk of tension in your neck and back, allowing you to cycle and train for longer.

Dual SPD pedals for extra grip

The 800IC spinning bike features dual pedals to ensure you can train to the full. If you have training shoes with clips, you can click them into the special SPD pedals, preventing you from accidentally slipping off the pedals whilst training intensively. In addition, the pedals are also fitted with the familiar toe clips for shoes that do not have a clip system. The toe clips, just like the SPD mechanism, ensure that you cannot slip off your pedals. This allows you to train safely and intensively. The Q-factor is 181 mm.

A quiet V-belt drive

The quiet V-belt makes the 800IC perfect for home use without disturbing others. This also allows you to focus fully on your cycling training without being distracted by annoying noises. The V-belt also makes the 800IC low-maintenance.

Stay hydrated with the dual bottle holders

The dual bottle holders allow you to store two water bottles under the handlebars. It is important to stay well hydrated during both short and longer training sessions. This means you don’t have to interrupt your cycling training to fetch water.

Combine cardio with strength training

The Schwinn 800IC is equipped with two dumbbell holders where you can hang two vinyl dumbbells. This allows you to supplement your cardio training with strength exercises to train multiple muscle groups simultaneously and get and stay extra fit.

Practical information about the 800IC

Would you really like an 800IC for your home? Then we also have a few practical points to mention.

Power requirements: The Schwinn 800IC requires a standard 220V–240V mains socket and comes with a power cable. You don’t need to worry about complicated installations or buying extra cables, so you can enjoy your workouts straight away.

USB charging port: If you like to use your phone or tablet during your workouts – for music, films or fitness apps – there’s nothing more annoying than not having a power source to charge your device. That’s why the 800IC has a built-in USB charging port. This allows you to continue training uninterrupted without having to worry about a flat battery.

Transport wheels: The 800IC also features integrated transport wheels. This allows you to move the bike easily if required.

Connectivity and apps

Bluetooth connectivity: Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you can easily pair the 800IC with your favourite devices, allowing you to connect to your favourite training apps, as well as easily track your heart rate via a Bluetooth heart rate monitor (sold separately).

Name change from Schwinn IC8 to 800IC

The name change from the Schwinn IC8 to the Schwinn 800IC was introduced by Schwinn to avoid confusion with other brands and to provide greater clarity for you as a consumer. Other brands had also started calling their bikes IC8, which led to misunderstandings. The 800IC is therefore the same bike with the same quality as the IC8, but simply with a new name.

Assemble it yourself or have it assembled by our expert fitters?

When purchasing the Schwinn 800IC spinning bike, you have the choice of having it delivered in a box to assemble yourself, or having it professionally assembled by our fitters at your preferred location.

I would like to assemble it myself

Your order will be delivered in a box to the kerbside; you will need to assemble it yourself using the clear instructions. Unlike with delivery and installation, in almost all cases you will receive the machine the next day and can start using it straight away. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a packing confirmation via our system, including a Track & Trace code, which you can use to track the delivery of your machine.

I would like you to assemble it for me

Our fitters will deliver and install your fitness equipment at the location where you wish to use it. You don’t need to worry about assembling, adjusting and testing your fitness equipment; our fitters will take care of this in a professional and friendly manner.

Delivery and installation is an additional service subject to an installation fee of €49.50. Once we have received your order, our planning department will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the delivery and installation with you.
