Description

The STEPR GO is a compact home stair climber that brings the toughest cardio from the gym into your own room. On the continuous steps you make a real stair-climbing motion that fires up your glutes, hamstrings and legs, while the load on your joints stays low. It is the entry model in the STEPR line: built for home use, with a footprint that fits through a standard doorway and stays under a normal ceiling height.

STEPR GO at a glance

  • Low-impact, high intensity: climbing stairs works your lower body hard without the jarring of running, welcome if you want to protect your joints.
  • Rotating steps: you step on real, continuous steps instead of up-and-down pedals, so the movement feels like climbing a staircase.
  • Stepless pace: 22 to 120 steps per minute across 25 levels, from a gentle warm-up to a demanding climb.
  • Compact footprint: narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway and to place in a room.
  • Connected training: pair via Bluetooth with the STEPR app, Zwift and Strava on your own phone or tablet.
  • 15 programmes: ready-made sessions plus a clear LED console showing your time, steps, pace and calories.
  • Supports up to approx. 147 kg: sturdy enough for solid, regular home use.

A real stair-climbing motion, low-impact

Where a mini stepper only moves your feet up and down, the GO's steps actually rotate beneath you. So you take step after step as if walking up a staircase, which keeps your glutes, hamstrings and calves working continuously. Because you never land the way you do when running, the impact on your knees and ankles stays low. This builds your fitness and trains your lower body, even when running is too demanding for you.

Pace and programmes

You train steplessly from 22 to 120 steps per minute, spread across 25 levels. A gentle walking pace for a long, easy session or a high pace for intervals: you decide. The 15 built-in programmes add structure and variety, and the LED console shows your steps, pace, time and calories burned at a glance. That way you stay on top of your effort without any fuss.

Compact and connected for home

The GO is designed to fit at home: the footprint is small for such a full-featured trainer and the machine fits through a standard doorway. Via Bluetooth you connect to the STEPR app, Zwift and Strava on your own screen, so you can follow sessions and track your progress. A phone and tablet holder, built-in speakers, a USB-C port and a large bottle holder round off every workout. The GO simply runs from a mains socket.

Good to know

The GO is the home version within the STEPR range and is intended for use at home, not for a busy gym. If you want larger steps, a higher pace or a commercial frame for continuous use, look at the Pro or XL. If instead you want an accessible, compact stair climber to seriously train your fitness and lower body at home, this is the starting point of the line. Bear in mind that you stand raised up on the steps, so you need enough clearance above the machine.

Frequently asked questions about the STEPR GO

Is the STEPR GO suitable for beginners?

Yes. You start at a gentle pace of around 22 steps per minute and build up through 25 levels to 120 steps per minute. That way the trainer grows with your fitness, from your first easy sessions to demanding intervals. The continuous steps also make the movement intuitive.

How much space and ceiling height do I need?

The footprint is compact, about 117 by 74 cm, and the machine fits through a standard doorway. More important is the height: you stand raised up on the top step, so allow for your own height plus about 45 cm of clearance above the machine. In a room with a normal ceiling height you will usually be fine.

What is the difference from an ordinary stepper?

With an ordinary (mini) stepper you push two pedals up and down. The GO has continuous, rotating steps, so you make a real stair-climbing motion just like on a staircase or in the gym. This gives a more natural feel and a more constant load on your glutes and legs. That makes it a full stair climber, not a compact trainer for under your desk.

Can I train with apps and my phone?

Yes. Via Bluetooth you pair the GO with the STEPR app, Zwift and Strava on your own phone or tablet, which you place in the holder. This lets you follow guided sessions and track your progress. Built-in speakers and a USB-C charging port come as standard on the machine.

Is the GO suitable for the gym?

No, the GO is STEPR's home version and made for use at home. For a gym or very intensive, continuous use, the Classic, Pro or XL with their commercial build are more suitable. For home training, even solid and regular, the GO is exactly the right fit.
